The Man Who Predicted 9/11

At 8 PM Eastern on the History Channel is The Man Who Predicted 9/11. This is about Rick Rescorla and if you haven’t seen it before, you should watch – check your listings. One of the first to pay tribute to Rick was milblogger Greyhawk at Mudville Gazette. Few people can be called hero more than once in their life.

I met a young lady several years ago, who upon graduation, went to work for Morgan Stanley in NYC. She had only been there a couple of months. She was smart, good looking, and well educated having a degree in finance and maybe law. She had grown up in upstate New York which is about as Midwest as you can get on the East coast. So I had to ask if she knew about Rick Rescorla. “Oh yes.” She said, “He was the greatest man who ever worked at Morgan Stanley and saved the company.” So there you go. Some East coast bankers do have good sense.

Embryonic stem cell research ban is lifted

(Fox News) A U.S. Appeals court on Thursday temporarily lifted a judge’s ban on federal funding of human embryonic stem cell research to consider the merits of the Obama administration’s request for an emergency stay.

WHAT IS IT about embryonic stem cells?

Would you be surprised if it all came down to money? Of course you wouldn’t. A lady doctor, MD and Phd, in testifying before Congress, laid out the whole story. She worked at NIH (National Institute of Health). Here, paraphrased and from memory, is what she revealed in her testimony before Congress. (I have long since lost the link and can’t find it on the C-span site.) She was by far and away the best witness. There wasn’t a name or procedure she didn’t know about; who did the work, when it was done, what was learned, and what it suggested for further studies.

Boy we are good!

From the Long War Journal:

The administrator of the US Agency for International Development in Pakistan visited a relief camp established by the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, a terrorist group supported by the Pakistani military, and delivered supplies to the camp.

Rajiv Shah, the USAID chief, visited a camp yesterday in Sukkur run by the Falah-i-Insaniat, Dawn reported. Shah delivered two truckloads of supplies to the camp to be distributed by Jamaat-ud-Dawa, according to Yahya Mujahid, the terror groups’ spokesman.

The US embassy says it didn’t happen.

The US embassy denied that Shah visited a camp run by Jamaat-ud-Dawa and instead claimed it was run by USAID partners World Food Programme and Save the Children. But Dawn reported that the camp has a banner at the entrance that reads “Relief Camp — Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation.”

Perhaps our partners should check the banners of camps. Or, this was one great black ops effort – especially if all the supplies carried the USAID stamp.

Climate Change – Just like the Ozone Hole?

Remember the claim that CFCs (chlorofluorcarbons) caused the ozone hole? The largest use of CFCs was in air conditioning and aerosol cans. But check the world map:

World Map with Equator

Most of the worlds land mass, and most industrialized countries, are in the Northern hemisphere. So it is safe to say the largest volume of CFCs had to be leaked or released into the Northern half of the worlds atmosphere. One would expect therefore to find a huge ozone hole at the North Pole.

This will explain why the opposition projects

The reason they see astroturfing, behind the scene financing, and think everyone lacks morals, ethics, and integrity, is because that is how they operate.

We are winning and they are desperate and pathetic.

828 Restoring Honor – Crowd estimates as a teaching moment

Using previous Park Service data for crowd estimates, the lowest possible rational number you could arrive at is 300,000. Any media number below this means:

  • They have no research staff or are incapable of doing their own research.
  • They purposely mean to distort the number. Which raises the question, Why?

So without answering the question why, we can determine which outlets are either incompetent or liars.

  • CBS – 87,000 and they supposedly paid money for the estimate. They got robbed!
  • PBS Newshour – Tens of thousands

You don’t really have to know why they used the numbers they did. All you need to know is they can not be a trusted news service. They must always be checked. A second and separate source – just like journalists are taught.

Using the 828 Restoring Honor rally as a baseline…

Did any of the media outlets point out that the audience at the Emmy Awards was mostly white? And the Nominees and Winners were even whiter? By 828 standards, are they not racists?

We are not nearly as dumb as the media paints us, but they sure are looking more and more like insufferable twits.

If they had a lick of common sense they would be embarrassed.

Mohandas Gandhi speaks to the Tea Party

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.
— Mohandas Gandhi

Of course today they also call you racist, Nazi, Fascist, and any other pejorative they can think of. The current trend is something-phobia. This only works for those who are followers and are not their own person. Our founding fathers had to deal with these people also. Per Gandhi, it just means we are winning!

What made the US of A great? Darwinism!

Now don’t get too upset. Instead, let’s look at the original title of Darwin’s book, The Origin of SpeciesOn the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.

What made the US of A great was Natural Selection. We are a nation of immigrants. If the Anthropologists have it correct, and DNA does confirm, even those now called Native Americans were immigrants. Seems the Americas truly were “The New World”.

(Update: Glenn Beck touched on this at his 828 rally.)
