If you’ve lost MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann…

It might be time to stop blaming Bush for everything.

Of course the whole mission accomplished meme only worked because some people didn’t understand that it was the aircraft carrier whose mission was accomplished. When this first hit the media, you could do a search on “mission accomplished” and get a few military references. But most were similar to, “dishes done, kids in bed, mission accomplished”, or “Today we finished remodeling the family room. Finally, mission accomplished”, or “Today we finished updating all the sensors on the city water system – mission accomplished”. Then for sometime the whole first page was about President Bush’s 2003 address under the banner on the USS Abraham Lincoln. Maybe Olbermann did a current search and realized things were almost back to normal.

Will this get his ratings out of the cellar? Not likely.
