Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) delivers novel way to call Tea Party racist

From the Washington Post blog (w/Video)

A leading member of the Congressional Black Caucus [Rep. Andre Carson’s (D-Ind.)] is standing by incendiary language he used at a recent town hall when he charged that tea-party aligned members of Congress view African Americans as “second-class citizens” and would like to see them “hanging on a tree.”

What does this mean? It means many African-Americans are deciding to be Americans of African Decent. This scares the Democrats because once they identify as Americans first, they may not vote the party line. To be an American is first and foremost to be an individual.

He also said:

“This is the effort that we’re seeing of Jim Crow,” said Carson, the caucus’ whip, or chief vote counter.

Does he realize he is a member of the slavery, segregation, and “Jim Crow” party? Next he will be calling Herman Cain an Oreo. It is like the ‘Verbal” quote from the move The Usual Suspects – “The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.” For the Democrats, the greatest trick was hiding their racist past.
